Oncology Massage-Massage for People Living with Cancer
Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with cancer or have a history of cancer? 

Therapeutic massage and bodywork is an excellent way to support you in staying healthy, stimulating immune system functioning, and allowing the body to deeply rest and heal from cancer and cancer treatment.

Laura Rose had three years of experience providing massage at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, with the Whole Women, Whole Health program, providing massage for women recovering from Breast Cancer Treatment since February of 2005.  This program provides massage, acupuncture treatments, as well as yoga, meditation, and nutrition classes at no charge to women who were treated at Mercy Hospital for Breast Cancer in the last five years.

Continuing Education & Teaching

Laura Rose teaches workshops for other massage therapists as well as family members and other caregivers on how to give safe, effective massage to people who are living with cancer.  She is on the faculty at the SOMA Institute in Chicago, teaching a portion of the Master Clinical Massage Therapy Program.  She also enjoys teaching at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, North Carolina.
